Harry Bratt, a Graphic Designer based in Staffordshire, England. Since graduating from Leeds Arts University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Graphic Design, I have cultivated a design practice specializing in Branding and Editorial Design where I’m driven to produce visually striking and contemporary work that effectively develops and articulates the intended core message. My approach involves a significant emphasis on exploring different avenues and experimenting with emerging possibilities within the ideation process. This iterative approach enables me to identify the most optimal conceptual and aesthetic outcomes.

Branding design
Advertising design
This project was a self-initiated brief designed to enhance proficiency in branding and advertising by integrating various design disciplines into a cohesive outcome. The objective was to develop a comprehensive brand identity for a fictional start-up outdoor club, accompanied by a range of advertising and marketing materials for an upcoming trail run event.

The conceived club, named Inner Exploration, draws inspiration from the Midlands region ("Inner") and the act of engaging with nature ("Exploration"). Positioned as an outdoor club and community based in the Midlands, Inner Exploration aims to highlight the area's scenic hikes and locations. Through its social media presence, the brand intends to organize events such as trail runs and hikes, fostering a community of individuals with a shared appreciation for the outdoors. Emphasizing inclusivity, the club extends a welcoming invitation to individuals of all abilities.

To reflect the brand's inclusive ethos, I aimed to create a smooth and inviting logo that evokes a friendly feeling while incorporating imagery indicative of outdoor activities. Drawing inspiration from the local landscape, specifically Clent Hill and its historic Four Stones, I developed a refined silhouette of these landmarks. Sharp angles were intentionally softened with curved corners to create a more approachable visual. This imagery was paired with the clean, light sans-serif typeface 'TT Chocolate,' mirroring the delicate linework of the Four Stones. The resulting logo provides a welcoming and functional identity for the club, featuring smooth, minimalist imagery that effectively communicates the brand's connection to the outdoors. This logo served as the foundation for the brand's initial member recruitment campaign on Instagram, providing a distinctive and memorable visual anchor for their posts.
